Research theme

Mathematical modeling and optimization

We are devoting ourselves to research on shape optimization of domains in which boundary value problems of partial differential equations are defined, such as for deformation of elastic bodies, flow fields, sound pressure fields, etc.

By obtaining cooperation of researchers in industry and medical doctors, we are aiming to apply the techniques to product design and medical care.
